Shiksha Bikash English Boarding School was established in 1995 in Jayamangala, Chitwan, Nepal with 85 students and 10 staff members. Initially, classes from Nursery to grade IV were offered. Today, it has become secondary school running classes from grade Nursery to Twelve. In the first year of the establishment, the school rented a building at Jayamangala. As we realized difficulty we constructed a school building in its own land which is nearly 2.5 kilometers away from Bakulahar chowk a point on the East West Highway. The school appeared its students in the SLC Examination in 2001 and HSEB in 2010.
Our vision is to become a school with faculty comprising expatriates, and cater to students from across the national boundary to provide high quality education by focusing on their holistic development and intercultural understanding for a peaceful and progressive world.
